This page is intended to be a site concerning reflections and musings on life as a techy. Currently I spend my days working as a Business Intelligence Product Owner, and working on personal projects. Professionally I’ve worked as a Mainframe Development Intern, Data Modeler, Business Intelligence Developer, Business Intelligence Analyst and now Business Intelligence Product Owner between four companies (Fidelity Investments, General Motors, All Web Leads, and American Campus Communities). Experiences in these roles have led to an understanding of what makes technology, and the people that use it tick. Starting as a doe-eyed college graduate I learned quickly the difference between aspiration and execution, and how to implement successful initiatives.
Professionally I’ve worked on several high-profile initiatives that have created the ability for the people that run the business to use their data and IT systems to make smart, educated decisions. Among these are projects were GM’s Variable Profit by VIN and initiatives to create a successful Residual Value Management business.

With havin so much content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism
or copyright infringement? My site has a lot of completely unique
content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all
over the web without my permission. Do you know any methods to help prevent
content from being stolen? I’d really appreciate it.

Unfortunately there’s definitely no way to stop it that I know of, especially if we’re talking images and text.
My stance is that if someone’s reading my content, or chooses to copy it, oh well. I’m not going to lose sleep over it since I don’t make money from this blog. I’m getting what I need out of it, which is learning and writing some of my thoughts down.
